Preparation Ingredients:
1 box of Hai's Singapore Chicken Rice sauce kit. Includes :
1 sachet of chicken rice paste, 1 sachet of chicken meat sauce, 1 sachet of chicken rice chilli sauce, 1 sachet of dark soy sauce.
400g of Thai fragrant rice
1 chicken of approx. 1.2-1.5kg (washed clean)
1 tomato (sliced)
1 cucumber (sliced)
A few springs of coriander

Preparation Method:
Bring 3 litres of water to boil. Place chicken in the water and cook for 25 minutes. Turn off the heat and let simmer for 15 minutes before taking out the chicken. Soak the chicken into ice water for another 15 minutes before setting it aside. Set aside the chicken stock for later use. Wash and drain the rice. Place in rice cooker and add 500ml of chicken stock and 1 sachet of Hai’s chicken rice paste. Cook for 5-6 minutes and mix the paste well with the rice. Continue to cook the rice until it is done.
